When the lights come up at Elevation, City of Life's middle-school and high-school ministry, students from all over Osceola County converge to worship the Lord in a positive, energy-charged atmosphere. Pastor David and Sheena Capps encourage, inspire, and challenge students to "break free" from the norm found in school hallways across the country and to live a life of purpose, transformed by the power of Christ. A dynamic adult staff assists Pastor David, offering a warm environment where students can feel accepted and where they can discover their individual destinies at the foot of the cross. Meetings are Wednesday nights at 7:00pm. Kicking off with passionate guitar-driven praise and worship that is under the direction of the Elevation Worship Band, the meetings continue with fresh multimedia and skits and conclude with a relevant teaching that is designed specifically to meet students on their level. Elevation's leadership program, Generation Rising, meets every Sunday night at 6:30pm. Students and adult staff unite to receive a deeper revelation of leadership and of the Lord in their own lives and to work together to make Elevation the quality ministry it is. Throughout the year, the students of Elevation engage in many other activities and events, from weekend Youth "Experiences" to Friday-night praise gatherings. The energy is always high, the presence of God is always powerful, and the friendships forged are always genuine.
